This is a lovely spacious well-equipped cottage in a most beautiful part of the country. We have packed a lot into our time here, including some lovely walks - we were delighted to spot two of the wild goats on the slopes of Yeavering Bell. It was great to discover some not-so-well known places to visit. (from Nottinghamshire)
Wow! what a fantastic cottage! Thank you for all of the extra little touches and welcome pack. We will be sorry to leave but hope to come soon again. We can highly recommend the Percy Arms (pub in Chatton). The food was amazing. Beautiful village - beautiful scenery - there was lots to explore and do. Thank-you.
This is either our 13th or 14th visit to Northumberland. Unfortunately because of timing we are not always able to book the cottage we want but we have found that Apple Pie Cottage is one of the best if not the best we have found. There is much to explore here, walks along the beach and a trip to Holy Island. Walks on the hills around the Cheviot are invigorating with splendid views. I have not seen the Northern Lights this year but someone here did last week. Many thanks Sheila for a lovely cottage. (From South Warwickshire)
Well- wow! We love it here! Sorry to leave. We shall definitely be back. Thank you so much Sheila. All your little touches make this house so special and everything works properly. So unusual in a holiday home. (From Ludlow Shropshire)
We loved your cottage and had a wonderful time here in Northumberland - our first trip so far North! The landscape is stunning!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your gorgeous cottage. Its perfect for exploring Northumberland and we've been lucky enough to have amazing weather during our stay. The cottage is a fine home from home and we definitely plan to return. (Bella the dog also stayed)
Wow! what a fantastic cosy cottage with everything you need. Great walks in the Cheviots and along the beach Seahouses to Bamburgh. Amazing part of Northumberland. Visited Percy Arms Chatton for lovely Sunday lunch. Brought dogs Ollie and Bobby
Lovely cosy welcoming cottage. Everything been thought of. Brilliant pub as well! What more could we ask for. Thank-you.
